Funny, right?
Funny, right?
We’ve been sold the idea that balance is the goal. Balance your career, your health, your family, your passions - perfectly, all at once. Sounds great in theory, but here’s the truth:
Balance is a myth. And chasing it is exhausting.

When I hit my own wall of burnout, I kept thinking balance was the answer. If I could just get the right schedule, the right system, the right attitude… everything would click. Instead, the more I chased balance, the more I felt like I was failing. That’s when I realized the problem wasn’t me. The problem was balance itself.

Life isn’t meant to be balanced. It’s meant to be integrated. Some days, work will take more of your energy. Other days, it’s family, health, or growth. Integration is about making choices that align with your real priorities, instead of pretending everything can weigh the same on the scale.

This shift is where Work Is Not Your Life begins. It’s not about fixing yourself. It’s about rewriting the rules.
